Panelists
Douglas J. DeBoer, DVM
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology
Dr. DeBoer is currently Professor of Dermatology at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California-Davis, and completed postgraduate training at Michigan State University and at UC Davis. His research and clinical interests center on the immunology of recurrent and chronic skin diseases, with a focus on canine allergic skin disease.
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology
Dr. DeBoer is currently Professor of Dermatology at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California-Davis, and completed postgraduate training at Michigan State University and at UC Davis. Thomas P. Lewis, II, DVM
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology
Dr. Lewis obtained his DVM degree from Colorado State University in 1986. He finished an alternative residency in private practice and in 1991 was awarded Diplomate certification by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. Dr. Lewis is the founder of Dermatology for Animals which developed offices in multiple states. This has afforded him the opportunity to study atopic dermatitis in many different regions across the Country.

Natalie Theus, DVM, MS

Dr. Natalie Theus (“Toyce”) is a graduate of The Ohio State University (OSU). She practiced for several years as a primary care veterinarian before returning to OSU for her dermatology residency and graduate degree. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2012. Dr. Theus is also an active advocate of continuing education for veterinary professionals. In her outside of work time, she enjoys running, dining out, musical theater, and traveling.
